Their performance has been appalling and defeat is well deserved. But don't let us kid ourselves about the rabid bigotry of Harper. In spite of Canada's human rights protections there are many subtle ways to discriminate and isolate minorities. And I am sure that Harper will find them. It's only a shame that Canadians have so few choices in the upcoming election. Good government isn't the exclusive perogative of any political party.
